This app is especially useful to users such as students or post-graduates that have free time at some point in their days and are eager to meet new people in-person or virtually. Some examples could include but are not limited to grabbing drinks after class, setting up study sessions, attending events together, or even just chatting with another person at your school on a Saturday night. The major difference versus other apps and services is that you can tailor such interests or moments to people in your community like your school or area. Right now, we strongly encourage users to use this app to connect with others at their schools and find their niches.

A4: Budups sets itself apart from other social networking apps by placing a strong emphasis on creating meaningful moments between users at their schools rather than focusing solely on specific interest groups. It accomplishes this by showing only the most recent activities on the discovery page; ie. highlighting activities planned within the next 24 hours such as sharing lunch with a new friend or engaging in a virtual conversation on a Friday night to keep our community's engagement refreshing and relevant. This design promotes spontaneity and genuine connections. Furthermore, Budups' matchmaking feature significantly enhances the chances of connecting users with similar characteristics which ensures a high probability of finding companionship.

For those interested in meeting in-person, we recommend getting the other user's external social contact as a means of identity verification and then meeting in a public place. Remember not to share sensitive information. If you feel uncomfortable, you can report other users and delete your chats with them.
